TRAVEL  SAFE in BUENOS AIRES

Argentina is a very safe country. Actually you don't need any organized tour to visit it. Thousands of lonely travellers (women, men, girls and boys) visit Argentina every year. Anyway it's always good to follow some basic rules to enjoy better the travel and the stay.

The Pickpocket

PICKPOCKETS

When you are in some overcrowded places (Especially the subway — Subte) BE CAREFUL to the pickpockets. Use a Money belt for Credit Cards and Passport. Inside your wallet only the money necessary for the day. This is a good rule for any country cause as you can see….there is no country without a prison :o)  In La Boca walk ONLY during the day and in the MAIN touristic streets. In San Telmo be careful as well during the night and anyway don’t walk in the desert streets....and anyway, like in any big city...if you see a narrow desert street, dark, with no lights...stay away. These are the general rules that anyway you should follow anywhere in the world.

INTERACTIVE MAP of some of the Areas and the streets where it's not safe to walk in Buenos Aires . RED = Don't walk there and inside there - GREEN (Inside La Boca) =  walk there ONLY during the day (till 6 p.m.) and anyway don't walk outside the green lines and around there....if you don't see any tourist any more no souvenir shops etc...it means that you are in the WRONG area.
