From Salta (by bus) it takes about 9 hours and from Buenos Aires about 10 hours 

We could spend only 1 night and 2 days. It's a very nice city. It's important for its University (the first University in Argentina). The Universidad Nacional de Cordoba is the oldest in the country and one of the first on the American continent. Currently, it is an important center of reference not only in the cultural/scientific sphere, but also in the political and social ones..More than 110,000 students, from this and other Argentine cities and provinces and abroad, study in its classrooms and laboratories. You can visit it and it's very interesting cause in some classes there are still the 100 years old desks. It's a very traditional University.

It's a relaxing city. There are really a lot of museums so, if you are interested in Art, History Science, this is a place you cannot miss in Argentina.

Paseo del Buon Pastor - Here sometimes during the day you can listen to some Classic Music and the fountain "dances" with it.

 

The nice Touristy Police. It's new in Cordoba and they tace care od the tourists. Usually in the historical center
