I'm travelling at this time since 3 weeks around Argentina and will do so for one week more and until now this house was the best choice of all hotels and hostels I made during my visit to Argentina. It was a really great welcome and stay in Giorgio's House. Giorgio's House is not a hotel, but it's also not a hostel... it's something different. It's like living together with some of your friends in a house where everybody has its own room. The 3 rooms for all guests and also the shared living room and kitchen are very nice coulored and equipped with furniture that could also be in my own home. Everything is very clean and also located in a safe area. And most important the innkeepers gave me such a great welcome as I never found before and the same during my whole stay of 5 days. Never before feeled so welcome and never before I had that experience as living together with the best friends of mine .... The house is located directly close to a metro station and the way to the city center of Buenos Aires by metro is done in about 10 or 15 minutes. But also in Caballito, the district where Giorgio's House is located, you find everything you need. Bars, restaurants, small shopping centers, shopping streets, parks and a lot more. So Giorgio's House has to be recommended absolutely .... for me it was an unforgettable week in Buenos Aires with incomparable friendly innkeepers in a very nice environment and it will be the choice of my next stay when I ever will be on vacancies here again.P.S. No need to add any new fotos because the house is really as shown on the fotos from the innkeepers itself.Muchas Gracias por todo,Rolf

It was absolute pleasure to stay in this guesthouse. The hospitality was really great. You can really feel yourself at home. It is very well located. You can get lots of advises and suggestions about must-to-see places in the City and in the country. When I travel next time to Buenos Aires I will definitely stay in this place.

Our family of 7 hails from Pretoria, South Africa and we had just completed a 3 week adventure through Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands and Buenos Aires was our last destination. Ana and Irina welcomed us as if we were long lost friends and made us feel so at home. Our rooms were very comfortable and airconditioned which was a bonus. We loved the patios and views. The bathrooms were adequate and clean and it was useful to have the kitchen.Ana went out of her way to work out an itinerary for our two days and it was perfect. Don't forget to have an ice cream at the shop just up the street. The location of Giorgios House is perfect and very convenient for public transport and shopping. We highly recommend this friendly home and cannot wait to return. Muchas Gracias!

This is THE best place to stay if you come to the beautiful ciy of Buenos Aires. We had a superb time in Buenos Aires and a lot of it was due to the amazing hospitality of Irena, our lovely hostess. What a wonderful introduction to the true culture of the city and what a breath of fresh air to have someone who was willing to go the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. The accommodation was clean and made us feel very much at home, especially after numerous hostels! It is located very close to the subway and we found our way around Buenos Aires with ease. Listen to all of Irena's food recomendations too - from ice cream to meals, she knows what she is talking about. I had the biggest icecream I have ever had at the shop close to Giorgio's House...and it was worth every sugar laden mouthful. I will definitely be staying here again when I return to the lovely city of Buenos Aires!!

Three of us stayed here for three nights. Two in one room, me in another. Ana was willing to give us tips during our entire stay about where to go & what to eat. The place is very clean (including bathroom & kitchen) & had plenty of good streets for strolling around it. We went in winter & stayed plenty warm w/ the furnaces. And the breakfast was simple, authentic, & a great start to our day of wandering. We were recommended a bike tour, which turned out to be our favorite part of the trip. Would definitely stay there again!

Staying at Giorgio´s House felt like staying at home. The place is immaculate, and our fabulous and fantastic host IRINA made our stay an unique experience.BA itself is a great place to visit, but having the right people to wake you up with a beautiful porteno breakfast, telling you all the exciting things to do in town is worth more than anything. If you are thinking of going to Buenos Aires and isn´t sure where to stay, here is your solution - GIORGIO´S HOUSE is the place. The location is safe, clean and in the roof of this antique italian building.Have fun guys!Muchas gracias IrinaBesos

Barely a week before my trip to B.A., my former boss who invited me to stay at his place suddenly cancelled. What a terrible terrible feeling! I contacted an Uncle who vacationed in B.A. over the summer to ask for hotel references. One of them was Giorgio House. I emailed them and viola! I booked a room for my 5-days stay.I was totally lost and bummed out about my situation. Luckily I stayed at this place. Irina, Anastasia's sister, was such a life saver. She treated me like family. The place was nice, cozy and felt like a real home. My room was very decent, spacious, clean and comfortable. Irina helped me all throughout my stay and was always so patient and willing to answer my questions about the place. She gave me tips on the best places to go, how to go around on a budget and to travel the place like a local. This is really more than just a place to stay. This is your home away from home.

We stayed at Giorgio's house at the start and end of a three-month trip around South America and had a really wonderful time each time we stayed. Irina and Ana are both terrifically friendly, and gave us great recommendations for parilla, ice cream and tango classes. The apartment is cosy and clean, and the other guests tended to be friendly too. The area isn't too touristy, so you get the feeling that you're living more like a local would. It's not difficult to get into town: you're right next to a metro that takes you straight in.We really felt we landed on our feet staying here at the start of our trip and knew that we were sure to have a good end if we stayed there again.

Our family rented the entire apartment for eight nights in April 2009. Irina was a wonderful host: chocolates on the bed on arrival, coffee on the first morning, a lesson in the art of Mate that evening, lots of tourist tips, a trip to a favorite parrilla, a trip to an authentic milonga, and all this with a great "how can I help" attitude. We especially enjoyed the Caballito barrio, a middle class neighborhood. Rivadavia Park is a true Buenos Aires experience: old men playing cards on Saturdays, stamp and coin collectors on Sundays, and philosophy textbooks and other books for sale every day. Prices for food and other items were all less in Caballito than in the main tourist spots. Great access to the subway A line. When we compared the price of several hotel rooms in the main tourist areas to this apartment, the cost savings were huge. We feel that we lived at least a little bit like true "portenos" by staying at this apartment. Every part of our transactions with Giorgio's House were carried out as promised.

We stayed at Giorgio's upon our arrival in South America in Dec 2008 and again when we headed home a month later in January 2009. Ana and Irina are welcoming, fun, smart and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the neighborhood is safe and the subte access convenient. It is a bit of a distance from the "regular sights" of BA but we didn't mind this. Giorgio's house was great value for us and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. Be sure to try some ice cream from Il Troviatore just downstairs. It's ecstatic
